While her 2016 singles lived on the ocean floor, ‘The Feeling’ finally breaks the surface of the water. It is Eilish’s version of a pop hit, breakneck production given nuance by her haunting vocal. Her 2016 singles placed her voice in the back of your mind, but ‘The Feeling’ finds Eilish branding her name onto the skin of Australian pop music.
