Standing in the middle of a frozen lake late on a winter evening listening to compression fractures in the ice: sonic lightening bolts shooting through me. That did it ... sounds I'd never imagined opened doors in my mind that have never closed. I've struggled to find ways to capture and share that feeling of thrilling fear and abundance and foreverness ever since.
