I like that you kept that kind of unusual --3-4 snare kick thing happening even after the melody starts.

Yeah.... if there was a "pad of the month award" you would win.

Ehhhh.... I get you're doing with the piano chords here the rest of the track doesn't build around it -- everything stays really legato and I would love to hear more energy kind of "kicked off" from the piano motifs and soar to some kind of explosive/orgasmic ending  But really lovely piece.

I love this so much!!  I love the rain and other sounds that suggest nature!

What does the title/pic mean? 
I have had many dreams throughout my life about finding hidden doors that lead to magical places. The picture is of a abandoned stairway in a house I lived in for a few years in college. Leads to the backside of a refrigerator. I had dreams about that house, that there were secret floors burrowed back into the hillside, etc. And at one point years later I couldn't remember if this abandoned stairway really was there or I just dreamed it.

Anyway making this triggered another of that type of dream.
