We are burning up the rules mixing analogue and digital, guitars and synths, percussion and drum machines, humour and horror, love and despair, hope and hopelessness.

We are two Brunswick guitarists who reconnected at a Gang Of Four show in 2019. We spent 2020 figuring out how to self-produce our own music. The result was our 2021 self-titled EP which was followed by our debut album, Be Free Now, in 2023. Our latest album Heatwave is cooked.

The Horror You Found

"When This Is Over" is one of those songs that instantly felt special as soon as it came into being. One of the things I got fairly obsessed with while writing songs for the new album was searching for interesting combinations of instruments, and contrast between electronic and ‘real life’ sounds. I feel like this song is the perfect example, because the first half is so sparse and electronic, then the whole track turns on its head with children singing, guitars, organs and flutes playing and psychedelic sounds whizzing past your ears. -Dan
