“Some projects just work from the start, they just do… Lindsay Hannon and Bradley Johnston’s debut performance at the Jazz Café (Newcastle, UK) in the autumn of last year attracted a full house” (Bebop Spoken Here). 

A chance gig between Bradley Johnston (“A brilliant young guitarist”-The Crack) & Lindsay Hannon (“A voice soulful, brooding & unselfconscious in its longing” - Jazz Journal) led to a discovery of a mutual love of guitar & vocal duos; Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Pass, and the work of Tuck & Patti Andress. 

Lindsay and Brad’s shared appreciation for the recording’s “Take Love Easy” and “Fitzgerald and Pass…Again” inspired them to join forces and recreate some classic hits such as “Take Love Easy”, “That Old Feelin’”, “The One I Love (Belongs To Somebody Else)”. They perform songs from those albums with eloquence and humour, as well as original arrangements, under the moniker 'Hand to Mouth’.

The Lulas are a four piece funk infused pop band based in Middlesbrough UK. They formed in October 2018 but didn’t perform their first gig until the end of February 2019 leaving them time to focus on writing and constructing their original music.

The time taken crafting their material really shows in their performances. The first ever gig the Lulas played was at a Battle of the Bands, which resulted in them advancing to the next round and ultimately winning the final. This led to high praise from everybody around their local area.

The Lulas’ unique sound has been compared to the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers with a mix of Amy Winehouse.  After performing festivals in and around their hometown as well as working alongside some great promoters, they have secured a gig supporting the reggae pop band, Kioko. 

Their upbeat catchy sound really gets the crowd going, if you see beach balls and an inflatable pink flamingo being bounced around in the audience and everyone enjoying the summer vibes, then it's more than likely that you have managed to find your way into a Lulas gig.

We are (will be) a 4 piece band from the Redcar and Cleveland area Teesside UK. 
The Wainstones are a Mod/Indie/Alternative band who's main influences are The Beatles, The Stone Roses, The Jam and Oasis.
As well as playing covers of songs we like, we're also adding more of our own material to our set list.

At the moment the Singer/Rhythm Guitarist and Lead Guitarist are playing acoustic open mic nights and starting to do a few gigs.
Once a full line up is arranged and fully rehearsed, we will start gigging more frequently around the local area.

Yuko Araki is one of a number of female artists emerging from Japan that are redefining the outer boundaries of noise, post-industrial techno and experimental electronics.

Raised as a pianist, Araki’s teenage obsession with metal opened a gateway towards various types of intense sonics. Exploring a range of diverse music projects over the past decade (KUUNATIC, Concierto de la Familia), her solo work resolved in 2019 after she developed an approach to freeform analog noise, releasing her first EP “I” via Indonesian label Gerpfast Kolektif and her debut album “II” via Italian label Commando Vanessa. Working with a reductive set of tools, her methodology was to create work that created a sense of timbral density and complexity through a weaving together of competing elements.
In 2021 Australian Label Room40 released “End of Trilogy”, a record of unpredictable momentum and tempered ferocity. Even at its most intense, Yuko Araki’s work maintains a sense of playfulness, and a determination not to succumb to mere sonic nihilism.

In 2023 Araki surveils an expanded terrain with IV, released via Australian Label Room40.
Moving outward from the orbit of her End Of Trilogy edition, Araki creates a wholly more bludgeoning sound world. Working at the nexus of ritual, noise, sub sonics and crushing rhythms, her latest recording is resolutely embodied, smothering the listener in undulating pressure waves. She also summons an altogether otherworldly approach to voice, which operates as fugitive spirits within their caustic, post-industrial sound spaces she composes. This interest in voice is accentuated with special contributions from guests including Endon’s Taichi Nagura.

On August 30th 2025 Room40 released a new album, ”Zenjitsutan -前日譚” (prequel in Japanese); this is the 0 (Zero) of the artist's numbered album series. And it's a declaration of love toward long-form noise drone sets.

Yuko Araki’s performances have taken her across Europe, the UK, Asia, and Canada. She has appeared at respected festivals and venues including MUTEK JP and MODE (Japan), Skaņu Mežs (Latvia), Unsafe+Sounds (Austria), Freespace Noise Fest (Hong Kong), Cafe OTO and IKLECTIK (UK), Cave12 (Switzerland), and Soup (Tokyo).
She has collaborated with visual artists including Jackson Kaki and Daisy Dickinson on A/V performances.

Newcastle Central Records label,  featuring a wide and diverse range of deep, emotive, soulful, and heart-felt techno, electro, and house music, from an all-inclusive, ever-growing, collective of like-minded artists.

After touring the country as cellist to some of the UK’s best loved songwriters, Harriet Bradshaw releases her debut self-titled album on 4th November 2022. With a signature sound encompassing elements as diverse as folk and musical theatre, Harriet is Teesside’s answer to the likes of Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell; a multi-instrumentalist bringing a mix of piano, cello, guitar and crystalline folk vocals to her unique songwriting. 

Harriet is a much sought-after session player and collaborator and has been cellist for Mercury Prize nominated John Bramwell (I Am Kloot) for a number of years, as well as many North East artists such as Amelia Coburn, Tom Joshua, Nel Unlit, and Elaine Palmer. Harriet is a classically trained pianist and cellist, as well as having a background in choral singing, and the influence of this can be heard in the lushness of her songwriting and crisp vocal style. 

Brought up with a love of literature and everything musical from the Beatles to Stephen Sondheim, Harriet’s nostalgic sound will delight fans of Joni Mitchell, Molly Drake, Laura Marling, Carole Bayer Sager, Kate Bush and Rufus Wainwright.
