Progressive mastermind Mulya had a serious basis for compositions already as a child. With a father who’s an opera conductor your destiny’s written. Piano and solfeggio lessons formed our man’s life till his early adulthood. Blew by the wind of progressive house movement MULYA dig deep into harmonies and melodies around the late 2000’s. Keeping the flow of rolling synth lines and complex productions he stepped out with his first EP ”Marvin” at the perfect moment on MoBlack Records. The tune was played by a wide range of A list artists from different genres and created a huge wave through the summer of 2017. The promising start followed by a brilliant three-tracker at Super Flu’s Monaberry, which still sounds like a message from future galaxies at the end of 2018. Remixes for Animal Trainer, Sabb, EP at Bog’s Atlant and another EP at Lehar’s own Multinotes shows clearly that “Marvin” was more than just a lightning in the summer storm. So don’t expect less than heavy drums, accurate production and deep vibes from the man behind the name Mulya...

Am taking it more easy on the DJ side of my life only the most important events is on my schedule this year. BØLGEN's annual summer recidency on the waterside of innercity Copenhagen is a must for me to keep playing. I feel at home with everybody from the amazing crew behind the event - to the cool, smiling and loving crowd that is as an important part of the event as the sun shining from above. Here I get to spin the sound I love. The Deep, the dreamy and the smooth beats from then and now. May it never end. Here is my set from this year's booking - which took place on June 22nd 2019. Playing house, minimal deep tech, progressive house and experimenting with minimal and melodic techno.

Performed at Kravallen Festival, TENSION, and London Sound Academy alongside emerging artists from London’s electronic music scene, including I-DA, Marius Sebastian and Meakin.

My first melodic house release, 'Boundless Beauty', is now out after my tech house debut, ‘Judgement’.
