The Nashville-based, electro-pop band LNYX (pronounced "Lenox") is comprised of husband and wife duo Scott Taube (Vocals) and Brittany Furse-Taube (Keys). After touring for 7 years both nationally and internationally ScottÃ¢ÂÂs previous band, Philmont (EMI), decided to part ways. While Scott wanted to continue writing and performing he said he was ready for something different.

Ã¢ÂÂAfter years of writing for the same band you start to run into limitations. YouÃ¢ÂÂre able to evolve your sound but you have to do so in baby steps so as not to alienate your existing fans. ItÃ¢ÂÂs been a blast writing and performing with LNYX. ItÃ¢ÂÂs tough to start from the bottom again but weÃ¢ÂÂve got absolute freedom to write the songs and pursue the sound we wantÃ¢ÂÂ. 

Brittany is no stranger to the band life either. SheÃ¢ÂÂs been touring with Scott since they got married in 2007 tackling all of the the road manger duties but, for her, making the transition from behind-the-scenes to front-and-center was equal parts intimidating and gratifying.

Ã¢ÂÂI grew up dreaming about being in the entertainment industry but I never thought IÃ¢ÂÂd actually end up on stage. To be in a band with my husband is beyond what I imagined!Ã¢ÂÂ

LNYX blends ScottÃ¢ÂÂs pop/rock songwriting style with BrittanyÃ¢ÂÂs longtime appreciation of electronic music. Mixed with current EDM influences the end result is an arsenal of synth-driven, four-on-the-floor anthems coupled with thoughtful lyrics and infectious, melodic hooks. 

LNYX digitally released the Ã¢ÂÂCaptivate EPÃ¢ÂÂ in January of 2014 followed by tour dates all over the US and Canada. The two have since been writing for a new release in 2015 including co-writes and collaboration pieces with several local and international DJ/producers.

The Royal is a Dutch metalcore band that distinguishes themselves by bringing back the raw focus on metal into today’s overrated metalcore scene while maintaining a modern twist. Metalcore and progressive metal seem to fuse together perfectly in The Royal’s sound, and it’s being delivered in a spot on and advanced manner by this Dutch band. Given their ability to draw the listener in with brutally honest lyrics supported by technical but easy listening instrumentals The Royal shows solidarity for their future as a band to be taken very seriously. A fast growing, national and international, fanbase, selling cd’s and merchandise throughout the world, and touring the Netherlands with the biggest bands in their genre led them to be playing with the big names like Parkway Drive, The Ghost inside, Asking Alexandria and A Day To Remember on the big festivals. Now they are ready for more!

Formed in 2012 The Royal began writing and recording songs. These 5 ambitious young men show incredible promise through songs that showcase poignant and powerful writing, both lyrically and musically while still staying in touch with their metal roots. They released their EP, "Origins", in late 2012 and their single, "Blind Eye", in early 2013. 

The Royal released their highly anticipated album ‘Dreamcatchers’ on July 31st. The tracks, however, aren’t the only thing this band has addressed properly. The record features guest vocals from Shawn Spann from I The Breather and Ryan Kirby from Fit for a King. The artwork for this album was done by renowned artist Dan Mumford, who has worked for bands like A Day To Remember and Parkway Drive. To top it off they collaborated with American producer Cory Brunneman. All this shows this upcoming  band is serious about its ambitions and are determined to make it to the top.

The album contains 13 tracks, including an orchestral version of Origins, the title track of their EP from 2012. The songs definitely cover a great deal of metal and core elements, without being boring or monotone. Riffs that stick, brutal vocals combined with raw backings with tone, recognisable oriental spheres combined with exquisite melancholic parts and big tempo switches. All this will preserve your attention to the very last minute. Together with the release of their video for the title track ‘Dreamcatchers’ it obviously shows that this band is striving for a place among the big ones.

This quickly emerging band are planning a tour in Europe this fall to promote ‘Dreamcatchers’ to a wider and international audience.

Epitaph Records is an independent music label founded in Los Angeles by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. Early releases from a variety of punk heavyweights spawned what became known as the 90s punk explosion. 

Along the way Epitaph proudly launched its sister label ANTI-, representing unique and distinguished acts. From the beginning Epitaph’s mission has been to serve the musicians on its diverse and creative roster - an artist-first model, radical twenty years ago, and much imitated today.
