Second comes Swedish maestro Bænglund, showcasing an energetic, hypnotizing 2-step trekker bound to make any dancefloor pop. Track number three is blessed by well-kept Stockholm secret Alf Balder, coming through with a breaky blaster filled with funk and harmonic sweetness. Closing track is delivered by Ukraine producer and selector P V L V, wrapping up the third Dubs volume with a dark and psychedelic tint.

Papa Nugs joins the Space Dust cohort with the 5 tracker “ It Came From The West” transcending various styles and shades of sound. With a more tripped out take on a traditional jacking pallette, the title track kicks off proceedings with a propulsive drumbeat and rumbling bassline providing the perfect bedrock for the acidic squelches above. “Brooklyn Duck” continues the US-indebted styles adding an earworm vocal to the mix.

On the flip a barrage of drums and glassy oscillations form “Be Anew” with the relentless programming carrying through “Knobbly Knees” taking us firmly into electro territory with robotic vocals and a mechanic drum pattern that shows no sign of waning . Closer “Groove Nxt” sees out the EP in energetic fashion with well tuned snares trading blows with crystalline synth work

As is the norm with Holding Hands I very rarely release anything by someone I’m not already close to and Harry is no different. We run our party Sock It To Me along with Dr. Banana and Alec Falconer and are in the process of setting up a label together as well.

Harry starting sending over bits and pieces about a year ago that he thought might sit well on the label and I was completely in love with basically everything that he threw my way. In the end this EP has come out very well rounded in my opinion with a good mix of heavy, sneaky and melodic goodness strewn throughout.
 
Sarky is a total snakey breaky weapon, M1 is a sunset cruiser for the summer months, Howzat is a classic Holding Hands dance floor destroyer and Nudge is a back pack full of sleaze to get you groovin’ at the end of the night.
