And I swim in the amniotic fluid of a pulsar. The echoes of my orgasms interfere with the counterpoint of a forgotten fugue. The fragrance of the Orcs’ sweat vanishes in the colourless vibration of time and space. We travel alone in all the important times that we grow. We have our tribe, our friends, our family, to help us along the way. But it becomes so quiet and still when we need to truly grow. Growth and fear and grappling with the unknown in this world and in our next travels, feels highly volatile…the perplexing instability of the human life form that is neither particle nor wave, but a figment of a fraction of our time spent in this human life form. 

I cannot settle my spirit. It had known settlement and comfort, but that illusion dulled my senses, my inner thoughts and knowings. And although it brought me great pleasure and happiness for the time it was present, deep down I always grapple with our humanity and our purpose as a species…time is of no essence…the spirit lives in its own time and space.

So what am I describing in this music? What have I written?  I know exactly what I have sketched out. I’ve sketched out our infinite search for when our spirit will find a home…whether it’s beside a lake, in the eyes reflecting back at us, in the stars, in the wind whipping through our hair, in the smell of the fire, in the touch of a loved one or in the sounds of a song…our spirit dances and soars and takes infinite shapes as we journey and grow…

I write something of this journey…
