As the Upper Cuts series prepares to hit the Internet for the fourth time, we've teamed up with the Belgian DJ, producer, label manager, promoter and all-around workaholic Surfing Leons, who delivered a bouncy hip-hop flavoured beat with electronic flair, topped off by the catchy vocals of his partner in crime Miss Eaves.

Banga is sure to get heads nodding and bodies popping and locking on the dancefloor as its minimalistic hip-hop beats channel the current trap scene, injecting heavy bass and colorful synths in the mix to lighten the mood and set the proper party vibe, creating the perfect instrumental for Miss Eaves' fast-paced raps. The cheeky lyrics are sure to put a smirk on your lips as lines like "tighter than jeans with a muffin top / or hipster pants at the coffee shop", wrapping up this entertaining number with an insanely catchy chorus which is bound to get stuck inside your head for a long time.

Switzerland may be better known for snowy mountains, delicious chocolates and cuckoo-clocks than for its amazing tropical bass producers, but the new episode of the Upper Cuts series could change all that. Enter Samuel Riot aka Wildlife!, whose unique take on Jamaican dancehall infused riddims and modern bass-heavy club music has been making dancefloors sweat for the last few years, which is exactly what we predict for this UK Funky inspired gem called PC Riddim.

Playful hypnotic melodies, fierce syncopated drums and a whole lot of bass are the main ingredients for this heavy collaboration between Wildlife! and and young Switzerland based dancehall beatsmith Rapha. Drawing influenced from early UK Funky, PC Riddim, as most funky tracks did, doesn't pretend to be about anything else but the dancefloor, working on getting hips moving right from the start and putting hands in the air. Straightforward party vibes with a roaring bassline, addictively looping synths and inspired breakdowns: exactly what globalized dancefloors are craving for.

Wildlife! - who's dropping the conceptual album 'Roxy Reboot' on March 4th - first came to our attention through his standout production on Terry Lynn's 'Kingstonlogic 2.0', and his fierce dancehall inspired beats have been stuck on our iPods ever since. He's been featured on Enchufada's Hard Ass Sessions EP series, and has also released exciting bass-fueled music on labels such as Man Recordings, Mixpak and PHREE Music.

The almighty Buraka Som Sistema join the Upper Cuts free download series on a mission to give the world yet another musical genre to dance to. The tropical downtempo madness of first 15 minutes of their now legendary Boiler Room set marked the introduction of Zouk Bass, a brand new tropical hybrid born from the meeting of the French Antillan rhythms of zouk - and its Lusophone relative kizomba - with the bass-heavy styles of the UK underground. 

Zouk Flute is the name of the track that brings the slow and sexy zouk rhythms to the 21st century clubs. A mischievous and downright hypnotic melody instantly puts you in the mood for dancing in dimly lit rooms, giving the style's tropical heritage a dangerous modern edge. While the charming synths reel you in, the heavy slow-paced beats and thick sub-bass pressure promise to keep you nailed to the dancefloor, ocasionally breaking the spell to ask the DJ for yet another rewind. 

As it happened all those years ago with the fast-paced Angolan rhythms of kuduro, yet another tropical revolution in electronic dance music can be traced back to Buraka Som Sistema's studio.
