DJ Phayse aka Phayseman

I've mixed Drum & Bass for over half of my life from studio sets to radio mixes, bars & clubs. I started out reading DJ magazine and mixmag when I was a kid growing up dreaming of being able to mix on some decks one day. I then moved on to finally getting my first go on some Technics 1200s at 15 years of age in a small studio called Bandwaggon studios where I went on to doing a couple of DJ courses called something like DJ AQA level one beginners DJ skills and moved on to complete the DJ AQA level two advanced DJ skills. After this I was fully hooked on the art of mixing and scratching and making my own live recordings to tapes and cds. I then entered a competition radio one and uk club culture were putting on and ended up getting my self into the quarter-finals, one of the other competitors were using the mic to hype the crowd up on their set and I didn't think I would have had a chance of getting any further without trying it myself so I thought well if i'm going to push myself to talk to over 1500 people in a club then I may as well write some MC lyrics. I ended up winning that heat and moved up into the semi-finals where I finished in the top four out of the whole of the UK under 18s. I then moved on to playing clubs as big as 2000 people capacity to ten people grave yard shifts going around the UK showing my DJ & MC skills. I've ran my own radio show 'PHAYSE RADIO' through a shotta-tv channel and also on my own over facebook we continue to do live videos when we can so be sure to check them out when we post them up.

Phayse Radio is a Internet Music/Video Radio Station.
We broadcast live from my mixing studio over Facebook, for people to watch & listen to. I mainly play Drum & Bass, Jungle style (New & Old) with a variety of sub genres for all different types of listeners and will be having guest Mc's & Dj's on the show also!
