Four releases in and Luca Bacchetti's ENDLESS is making waves, establishing itself as a home for beautifully crafted and exotic house music.  For its fifth, the Barcelona based imprint welcomes a US producer who not only learnt from, but stands shoulder to shoulder with, many of the sound's founding artists, Mr Alix Alvarez.  

Having first studied and graduated from New York's Institute of Audio Research, it was his next step as assistant sound engineer at the legendary MAW Studios that saw Alix seize the opportunity to learn from Louie Vega & Kenny 'Dope' Gonzales and befriend further mentors including Osunlade and Sandy Rivera. Having teamed up with fellow New Yorker Mr. V to collaborate in the studio the pair set up and ran the internationally recognized Sole Channel Music. 

In more recent times Alix has been gracing the likes of Real Tone, Innervisions and Ovum Recording with his music, winning a legion of new fans and and keeping the current army more than happy. His ENDLESS debut 'Twenty Scope' sees Alix deliver another trio of timeless house cuts. From the liquid touch of '80 Blocks' to the beautifully pensive synth chords of 'Kali' and final smooth jackin' run of 'Scope', we are treated to a wonderful new Alvarez vision.

Tony has been dj'ing for over 20 years now and has held residencies at Red Box (Tripod) and Mono (The Village) where he played alongside John Digweed, Nick Warren, Omid 16B, CJ Macintosh & Yousef.

He was a 2fm late night sessions resident and presented the popular "Elements" radio show on Dublin's Nova 94.7 FM for 7 years until its closure.

He then went on to host an alternative electronic show called “Laze” on Dublin's Playfm with Aidan Weldon. 

Currently, he presents his "Elements" radio show on the UK's premier Deep House Radio Station, Deepvibes Radio.

Recent gigs include guesting for Allegro, Sidetracked, Oh Baby, Pentagon, Electroshock, Deep South, Dig Deep as well as the DIBH tent at Life Festival. He is also a Resident at We Love House in Westport.

Tony’s musical style can be described as deep, grooving house in all its forms.

In the late eighties and early nineties I began getting keen on electronic music (KRAFTWERK, Depeche Mode, Front 242, Altern8, The prodigy and SL2, to name but a few) which finally led me to the techno/club scene (Trance and Acid were my favourites); 1994 I started buying my first records and I began to deejay with my friend on his Technics 1210 MK2. We had an appearance in the local youth club in 1995 but mostly we deejayed for us and our friends. In the same year I began getting more keen on House Music and have started to buy House records since then. House Music in itself, Vocal, the upcoming Garage, Disco and French House were my favourites and I bought a lot of records. In the end of the nineties I lost the connection to the house scene, because I moved to another place, got married and raised a family. Throughout the years I still heard House Music, but Deejaying was out of reach...In 2010/11 the "fever" came back: I started to digitalise my records, bought an external controller for a laptop...it was amazing..back again...

One of my mixes of that time I uploaded here to show the connection between the mid-late ninteties classics and my post 2000s favourites...

My current favourite styles are Deep and Tech House, but now I buy most of my music online at beatport.
(and finally: Yes, I don`t talk in the third person of me ;-))
