Description: Monthly Music Mission for July. Used only the Brian Funk Cassette Synth pack for all instrument sounds, and for the theme of "On the Go" I produced the track only using my performance laptop. Got a glitchy vibe early on so rolled with it.

Love the slow and mellow feel of this track! It definitely feels ike we are getting ready to go somewhere, to move on. The Cassette Tape Synths sound great here too! Really nice use of the different textures! Lots of depth in the mix! Love that glitchy stuff!

MPC Monthly Music Mission May

Goals for this music mission:

1 - Use an infrequently used resource
2 - Use a spring reverb impulse
3 - Use guitar chord sample

I used the Arturia MiniFreak, a synth I rarely use and wanted to get to know better, for all the synth sounds. I used the spring as a send for my general mix reverb. Gave it a touch of swing to get a groove.

MMM May - Freaky

A song for grey days, half-read books, and moments when staying in feels like enough.
Built from a chopped-up breakbeat, soft synths, and a whispery vocal tracked late at night, this track lives in the space between ambient pop and introspective electronica.

Unmixed thoughts welcome—still tinkering, still listening.

Master Plan

This is a pretty old track I pulled out of storage and updated. Gist of it was pretty well written, but gave it a stronger chorus and a bit more structure.
