Starting their journey in 2014 their target audience was the UK Free Party scene, however the label has gained momentum in recent years with signings from Australia, USA & Venezuela, releasing a variety of sub-genres under the Hard Dance spectrum.

His close affiliation with Afterlife, where he has been a core artist since 2018, has provided a key platform to showcase his creative talent. Cuts such as ‘Dance With Me’ and ‘Metro’ have showcased his production abilities and distinctive style.

His unique sound has been featured in some of the most notable clubs, including Brooklyn Mirage NYC, Space Miami, and Hï Ibiza, as well as at world renowned festivals like Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Awakenings, and Time Warp.

Kevin’s vision for the future upholds his community focused ethos - to connect with as many people as possible through his music, to keep finding new ways to communicate his message and, ultimately, to stay true to himself.

Dj’s are hot stuff nowadays, but few are so versatile like dj Ward. He is known as Belgium's most talented crossover dj. And there are many magical dj sets to reinforce that status: Studio 54 Sportpaleis, Tomorrowland, I Love the 90's, Q party tour, cityparade … television and radio road shows, award shows, clubs, parties, corporate events. No dancefloor is too big or too small for him to handle! Many of his performances are already burned into the collective memory. So watch out, because his dj sets will glue your feet to the dancefloor, all night long!

It’s all about being creative. Ward developed his own particular way of deejaying. He gave the concept of an 'eclectic all round dj' a new dimension, he made it into a unique style form. 

Thanks to a wide musical knowledge, he has no problem with adjusting himself to different kinds of musical genres or audiences. Simon Doty’s origins from Canada’s Western wilderness to a college basketball shooting guard may seem like an unlikely path for the emergence of a finely tuned electronic artist. A self-taught gear master ‘whiz kid’ with a profound understanding of musical composition and engineering, Simon has earned the ear of his peers and heroes alike.

After years mastering his sound and ascending the ranks of the underground circuit, Doty’s breakthrough debut LP ‘Universal Language’ on Anjunadeep was released in 2023 and supported by a world tour featuring over 60 dates.  Marquee performances at electronic music’s top venues including Brooklyn Mirage, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, The Gorge Amphitheatre, Savaya Bali and Fabric London highlight a year of  live milestones for the Canadian talent.  The momentum continues with the inception of his new imprint Recess, remixes on choice labels, and a follow up album in the works.  

Characterized by gritty analog synthesis, evocative melodies, and powerful driving grooves; his signature sound has earned Simon a bonafide spot among the industry’s most respected producers.  An increasingly coveted remixer and engineer, Doty continues to showcase an elite command of his craft and a steadfast pursuit of progress.  Industry icons Pete Tong and Danny Howard have taken notice, with regular first plays and support on their BBC Radio 1 programs.
