Philip Chedid - Endless Sands of Time (July 9, 2023)

When I was 8, my father came home with a synthesizer software for the Commodore 64 computer. (This was a long time ago, wasn't it?) I was fascinated, however, I didn't know exactly what to do with that. But I constantly played my own melodies... 

I get inspiration from the nature and my inner self. I've been a big fan of Michael Cretu's Enigma since I was a kid. His music always help me to remember that we are all together and one of the important things is to find happyness and gratitude in the world both inside and outside.

I have 3 all-time favourite albums. The Cross of Changes (Enigma) and The Promises and Lies (UB40) remind me on the times when I was teenager. I love that high-school-times. The Fall of a Rebel Angel (Enigma) is very deep – I always listen to it when I need inspiration or just to calm my soul and my mind.

At first, I tripped to find myself, now I trip to remind my self.

Traversing through the endless crowd of mixed cultural paradigms, Ali Natiq known as Udam is a Sound Teller/Seeker from Northern, Pakistan. Born in Gilgit valley and fell in love with the house as a form of expression after experiencing the underground house culture of Lahore. A vagabond psychonaut who finds comfort in melodies. A nomadic soul who does not tie himself to any place, his personality is reflected in the music which takes essence from a variety and makes a mosaic. He aspires to piece together beats that transcend the auditory and instill visions and dreams. His music is a work of harmony between nomadic and progressive style of house. As seeker of deep vibes He is not afraid to take his partygoers on a magical journey.

Udam retains a strong instinct of chasing melodies and a lunatic urge for transfiguring existence through Music. Hitchhiking through a variety of genres he started spinning Organic House initially and sailing through Deep Progressive House, Downtempo and Organica with a presence of mild dark and Ethereal chunks.
