While preparing to leave for studying abroad, I've had this mixed feeling of hopeful new start, an urge of nostalgia for my home country, and love for my family and friends that I won't be able to see for the next two years. I've poured all of those emotions into this short 2-minute-long piece. I hope you all enjoy it.

During World War II, a girl reads a letter from her beloved he's sent her from the frontline, describing his life and saying how much he misses her. At the very end she realizes that he's been killed and won't be coming back to her.
