Hailing from Nelson BC, Dose. keeps themselves busy by curating underground events, performing weekly on Kootenay Coop Radio as well as managing bookings for their company Dose.Productions (website above) where they share their cutting-edge sound with their growing audiences globally. 

With music as their medium an equality as their goal, Dose. continues to push for the same inclusivity & equality within their own musical sphere; they consistently strive to represent fem folk, womxn, queer, & everyone in-between.  Having performed at events & venues such as Yelapa Music & Arts Gathering, Shambhala Music Festival, Versions, Sled Island, Wicked Woods, The Waldorf, Bloom Nightclub, YamBak, and their own Festival creation Re-Unión they have, so far, managed to share the stage with Mystery Affair, Robert E. Livingood, Esette, Roderic, Hector, Metrika y Balcazar, Lunar Disco, Saand, Nico Stojan, Blond:Ish, Marques Wyatt, Goldcap, Lion-S to name a few.

Mienne has been involved in dance culture for nearly two decades. She has always been a performance artist; initially as a belly dancer, her natural sense of movement and rhythm translated gracefully into her journey as a DJ. Her Libran love of balance (and variety!) makes her uniquely adept at setting a sonic scene that elicits journeys across desert tundra, through the expansiveness of space, and SPLAT onto a jiggling subwoofer.  Whether it’s bass/tech house or West Coast bass, you can expect to see smiling faces and feel your booty wiggle.
Says Mienne: "I have one goal: make your booties wiggle til you drip with sweat. If you aren't ready for a rump-shakin' good time, bass beats that make you twerk, disco samples that make you sing along, and a whole lot of smiles, stfu what's that all about? Come see me play anyway."
