Textur is proud to present the debut EP of Quiver. His EP ‘Artificial Tranquility’ (TXT-07) commutes between emotional narratives and persistent patterns. The music aims to create a listening experience that invokes both eeriness and familiarity, placed somewhere in between organism and cynicism.

Creating a sonic meeting-space, in which organic and warm timbres from the pipe organ and other acoustic instruments intertwine with the cold and cynical properties of digital sound-design, the EP explores worlds and timbres that are essentially ‘in between’.

The photo-mosaic cover-art has been created by photographer Nicola Hein. Much like the music found on the EP, it has taken form as an abstract piece composed of contrasting yet recognisable pieces of textures and shredded materials.

The EP is the seventh release on Textur, a small non-profit label and music collective rooted in Copenhagen, with an ambition to create a platform for exposure, collaboration and community among artists outside the commercial music scene.
