Nils Hoffmann shares the next single, and title track, from his forthcoming album ‘Running In A Dream’. The single is a collaboration with Swedish producer Kasbo and features vocals from Australian singer-songwriter Vancouver Sleep Clinic.

Moulded by German electronic music culture and his own classical training, music has always been a part of Nils’ life. Embarking on his musical journey at the age of 16, Nils swiftly gained a wealth of experience to draw upon. To date, the 27-year-old producer has amassed over 120 million streams on his music catalogue and performed at renowned venues, including Printworks London, the Brooklyn Mirage, and The Gorge Amphitheatre.

Nils’ forthcoming album, Running In A Dream, follows the release of his sophomore album, A Radiant Sign, which launched on Anjunadeep last year. The album achieved remarkable feats, amassing an impressive 24 million streams to date and gaining radio support from leading platforms, including BBC Radio 1, SiriusXM Chill, and KCRW. It soared to the top spot on iTunes Dance charts upon release and quickly garnered support from artists including Maceo Plex, Joris Voorn, and Eelke Kleijn. Nils embarked on an extensive live tour to support the album, enthralling audiences across three continents at over 40 mesmerising shows.

In new single ‘Running In A Dream’, Nils joins forces with Kasbo to blend Vancouver Sleep Clinic’s dreamy vocals with warm pads and a captivating lead synth. Kasbo, originally from Sweden, is an accomplished electronic producer with releases on esteemed labels including ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective, Counter Records, Mom+Pop and more. Hailing from Australia, Vancouver Sleep clinic is a singer-songwriter who debuted his first EP in 2014 and has since gone on to release multiple albums, amassed over 300 million streams across his catalogue and support on BBC Radio 1.

This impressively collaborative track is representative of the ‘Running In A Dream’ album to which it lends its name. The LP features an illustrious array of collaborators including Australian singer-songwriter Vancouver Sleep Clinic, Swedish producer Kasbo, British singer-songwriter Rae Morris, Brisbane-based producer and vocalist The Kite String Tangle, and Australian musician Dustin Tebbutt.

In tandem with the album release, Nils is embarking on a live tour spanning North America and Europe, with performances in cities including London, Berlin, New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto, as well as appearing at select Anjunadeep label showcases, including Anjunadeep Open Air: Bali.

Celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, electronic trio Above & Beyond unveiled their club single ‘Reverie’ earlier this summer, featuring long-term collaborator Zoë Johnston.

A fan favourite amongst the Anjunafamily since its debut at Group Therapy 350, ‘Reverie’ found global radio support with the single release (including Sirius XM and iHeart Evolution in the U.S.), editorial support on Spotify, Apple, Amazon and Deezer, and landed straight into the digital record boxes of Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and Gabriel & Dresden. 

Adding a new spin on ‘Reverie’, we welcome Adam Dormand and James Kenneally, aka electronica duo PINES to the label. Hailing from Adelaide, Australia, PINES have built up a dedicated fan base over the past few years, finding support from established electronic stars Kygo and Gryffin, and live showcases at SXSW. 

Heavily inspired by the likes of ODESZA, Tourist, Flume and Bonobo, they released their debut artist album ‘Dreamcycle’ via Sony Music/Palm Tree in May 2020, including breakout singles ‘Tell Me’ and ‘What You Need’.

'1986' is the brilliant second album from Steve Brian, here on Enhanced Progressive. 

Taking the dance music world by storm with his prolific output over the past ten years, Steve Brian has become a household name in Germany and beyond, gaining himself a global following with his pristine brand of progressive trance. His sophomore effort '1986' sees the German DJ / Producer brimming with confidence and expanding his sound, exploring new genres and bringing in a host of talented collaborators to create a truly exciting project. 

'1986' comes after the success of his debut album 'Wanderlust'. Released in 2018, his first album amassed over 35 million streams and featured collaborations with trance legends Kyau & Albert and Canadian progressive house maestro Dezza. He guest-mixed on Armin van Buuren's 'A State Of Trance' and Above & Beyond's 'Group Therapy' in support, with the album's seventeen tracks lighting a fire in the dance music community. He then followed up 'Wanderlust' with an exquisite EP, 'Asteroid Factory', in 2019.

Emerging from what has been a universally rocky 2020, '1986' is a blissful project that will take you on an ebullient, emotionally-rich journey. Steve Brian's upbeat approach is invigorating and impossible to contain; '1986' is an album to get lost in with its sparkling melodies and exhilarating atmosphere. Most prominently featured across the album is the classic uplifting Steve Brian progressive trance sound, found on tracks like 'Holding On' with Nova Sky, 'Damage Each Other' with Danni Baylor and 'Somebody' with Eric Lumiere, which see Steve Brian at his very best. He explores a variety of new influences across the album as well: 'Lake Street' takes cues from French house funk and is one of the album's highlights, 'Berlin Blue' features a laid-back 90's house groove, and eponymous track '1986' takes influence from 80's synthwave. The mix of sounds are perfectly peppered across a record that is cohesive in its execution, one that shines a light on Steve Brian as one of dance music's most prized possessions.
