Above & Beyond release their long-awaited collaboration with anamē, ‘Gratitude’ (feat. Marty Longstaff) on April 14 through Anjunabeats.

This collaboration marks the debut of anamē: a new alias from Swedish hitmaker Marcus Schössow and production partner Thomas Sagstad. 'Gratitude' also marks the return of Sunderland singer-songwriter Marty Longstaff to Anjunabeats, the voice of Above & Beyond's 'Tightrope' and 'Flying By Candlelight'.

Debuted during Above & Beyond's sold-out London festival at The Drumsheds in 2021, 'Gratitude' is both a jubilant vocal ballad and a tough, dancefloor filler. During Above & Beyond's winter tour, which sold nearly 70,000 tickets across the USA, the significance of this record to the group's dedicated fan community was immediately apparent. It has cemented itself as a future classic for Jono, Tony and Paavo, standing alongside some of their best-loved anthems like 'You Got To Go' and 'Thing Called Love'. 

Marcus Schössow's production resumé is extensive: he's collaborated with all three members of Swedish House Mafia, as well as Bassjackers, and has released on Revealed Records, Spinnin', SIZE, Armada and Axtone. 

More commonly found performing under the moniker The Lake Poets, Marty Longstaff rose to prominence with the moving acoustic ballad ‘Shipyards’. The song accompanies the opening credits to the sleeper hit Netflix documentary, ’Sunderland ’Till I Die’.

The Frenchman quickly ascended the ranks of global producer / DJs, establishing himself over the course of ten years as a mainstay in the world of progressive dance music, garnering a worldwide following in the process. In that time he has released two artist albums, a host of impressive singles and remixes, taken the reins on Colorize’s ‘Colorscapes’ compilation and toured the world from Los Angeles to Amsterdam to Tokyo.
‘X’ is an exceptional project marking a marvellous ten years for Matt Fax that features twenty of his favourite originals and remixes. We see classic releases on labels like Colorize, Anjunabeats, Armada and more, and remixes for renowned acts like Ferry Corsten and Lane 8. It comes to you in the format of two exemplary retrospective DJ mixes that highlight a musician who has indubitably come into his own.
