Today marks my first release as Puppet on Monstercat!

Scribble was the first song I ever wrote under this alias and also the most emotional one. Scribble is the product of a year of hard work and attention to detail while I was working diligently to find my sound. Still, every time I listen a certain emotion is evoked in me. This was my first attempt at expressing myself musically and I couldn't be more happy with it. I am extremely fortunate to have been able to work with one of my great friends The Eden Project on this track. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed the journey to this moment!!

Graduating from Dim Mak's New Noise imprint, the electronic pop brother-in-law duo W\ (WITHOUT) has released their EP Cheap Touch. The EP features three tracks, each more lush than the last, all occupied with falsetto vocals and synths as light as air. “Vyza”, previously released on New Noise, stands out for its crashing beat, while "Sum1 Else" and "Your Love" are consistent in their dreamy vibes and sophisticated musicality.

Against considerable personal odds Paul van Dyk’s still managed to land some of 2016’s heaviest hitting trancers. Most recently he collaborated with Alex M.O.R.P.H. on the month Beatport #1 chart slam ‘We Are’, delivering in the process summer’s most truly trance moment. 

This December, with anthem-in-the-making ‘Everyone Needs Love’, PvD returns for his last musical dispatch of the year. For it, he’s assembled an impressive vocal & production cast. Side by side in the studio with Dutch underground trance hero Ronald van Gelderen, the quartet’s completed by US-based singer/songwriters Gaelen and Eric Lumiere. 

On releasing ‘Everyone Needs Love’, Paul says: “as much as I thought I understood love, I’ve learnt considerably more these last nine months. In more ways than I could imagined, love made a battle worth fighting. Had it not been there for me, I’m not sure I’d be here today.”. 

Combining a locomotive bottom-end with a positively aerodynamic top, together Paul & Ronald prove every bit the potent studio force you’d imagine. With chemistry most evident, the Original Mix of ‘Everyone’ unites Gaelen & Eric Lumiere for its vocal fulcrum. Edging the track onto later night ground, Paul’s VANDIT Mix squeezes the tempo gas, lets the cables rush and the speakers’ roar. Heftier beats and lower frequency bass flow through its classically built PvD Club Mix, pushing ‘Everyone’s needle into peak-night territory.  

‘Everyone Needs Love’ is the PvD year-closeout fans will be heartened to hear. 
Paul van Dyk’s VANDIT Club Mix will be available December 9th on Beatport.
The Original and PvD Club Mix will be available on all DSPs December 23rd.
