Laura van Dam returns to Epic247 Recordings with her latest progressive tech trance belter  ‘Blow Up The Speakers' that has been doing serious damage around the world in her dj sets all through the 2023 festival season. As played on Tomorrowland, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Sunrise Festival (Poland), Untold Festival (Romania) and Mysteryland Festival (the Netherlands). The track originated in the studio as an ode to the classic hit track from 2000 by Belgium producers duo Moon and DJ Ghost, while Laura takes her own unique approach with the powerful and iconic trance lead sound recreated, blended in with Laura her unique warm melodic and progressive tech sounds, giving birth to a complete new ‘dance essential’ ready to take over the dancefloors around the world. 

Quote Laura van Dam: “I started this project back in 2018 already and while it got several updates and revisions over the years, this always has been one of the 'standout tracks' in my sets. the project started out as creating an ode to the 2000 classic of 'Blow Up The Speakers' by Moon & DJ Ghost, but i wanted to create something modern and fresh that fits my sets perfectly. It doesn't matter if I play in an intimate club or on a big festival, the track does serious damage to the dancefloors and always get the energy of the crowd to a higher level. I'm super excited to finally share 'Blow Up The Speakers' with all my fans and followers.”

OceanLab release ‘Sirens Of The Sea’ (Marsh Remix), out now on Anjunabeats. 

OceanLab is the chart-hitting side project of Above & Beyond (Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki) and singer-songwriter Justine Suissa. 

With a discography spanning over two decades - including top 20 UK single ‘Satellite’ (2004), two top 25 UK dance albums (‘Sirens of the Sea’ in 2008 and ‘Sirens of the Sea Remixed’ in 2009), and two top 10 UK dance singles (‘Clear Blue Water’ in 2003, and ‘Satellite’ in 2004) -- OceanLab has cemented themselves as a seminal dance act with an undeniably unique sound, where Justine Suissa’s angelic voice and compelling lyrical perspective take centre stage.

OceanLab released their enchanting single ‘Sirens Of The Sea’ in 2005. Featuring the ethereal vocals and lyrics of Justine Suissa atop Above & Beyond’s balearic-tinged soundscapes, it would go on to burn the hearts of millions of OceanLab fans in the years to come. Now, Anjunadeep label favourite and rising star of the electronic scene Tom Marshall, aka Marsh, delivers his take on the OceanLab classic.

Few artists exude as much passion for, and dedication to, their craft as Tom Marshall (AKA Marsh). Since he first emerged on the electronic music scene in the mid-2010s, Marsh has sculpted a uniquely soulful sound that has captivated his listeners and earned him a fast-growing and intensely devoted fanbase.

Released in early 2023, Marsh’s album 'Endless' follows two previous bodies of work; his 2017 debut 'Life On The Shore', and his critically acclaimed Anjunadeep debut LP, 'Lailonie', the latter of which has accumulated over 20 million streams to date, and sold over 1500 vinyl copies. Marsh also has an array of widely supported anthems in his discography. 'Come Together' (with Nox Vahn), 'Little Darling' and the Beatport chart-topping 'Lost In You' are some of his best-loved tracks, all streaming well into the millions and winning support from electronic music's most prominent artists, including Joris Voorn, Pete Tong, Diplo, and RÜFÜS DU SOL.

‘Sirens Of The Sea’ (Marsh Remix) is the latest single from the forthcoming ‘OceanLab: The Anthology’ project, which celebrates the legacy of the iconic trance group through a series of new remixes, a digital compilation, and a limited edition vinyl box set product.

“In January 2023, I got an exciting message from Anjuna to see if I’d like to remix an OceanLab classic of my choice! I remember asking a number of friends to see which track they thought I should take on, but I think I already had the answer deep down - it had to be ‘Sirens Of The Sea’ - one of my all-time favorite trance anthems. It’s a massive honor to have a remix of this one, and such a joy to enjoy this moment with you again and again when I play it out!” - Marsh

In 2023, Above & Beyond were the only British DJs to sell out two consecutive nights at Printworks as part of the iconic London venue’s closing season. They recently made a return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre to helm two shows alongside label stars from Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep and made an appearance at Insomniac's Escape Halloween festival in California.
