Our latest guest mix comes from harpist Ange Halliwell. Based in the verdant countryside of Southwest France, he continues to make harp music with hypnotic arpeggios and sung, spoken or shouted voices. Halliwell's compositions are intimately linked to nature and have a contemporary consciousness of tradition.

Featuring unreleased personal material in addition to selections that unexpectedly glide from pastoral instrumentals to gauzy halcyon pop and grinding black metal, this is a mix that offers an intimate window into an artist's interior world.

"These music are precious to me. Some of them are from my childhood, where my parents or my brother used to listen to them. I discovered the others from my personal listening. After more than ten years, four albums and countless shows, Swiss artist Joell Nicolas takes a turn and releases her last album as VRVN. Despite being an ending, Storia is also a place for beginnings. For the first time, VRVN brings together her semi-modular synth with an acoustic instrument, but not just any: a church organ. Filled with air like a dragon, it becomes both emancipating and dangerous, weaving its sounds with synthetic ones, together with voices and lyrics: in English and –also for the first time– in French.

Three years of musical research condensed in ten tracks, sometimes structured as songs, sometimes as sensitive soundscapes. Stemming from an exploration of textures over structure, Storia meanders through intimate topics, such as, childhood, silence, risk, healing and transformation.

With the support of Ville de Lausanne and Canton de Vaud.

This month, Delphine Demord invites us to immerse ourselves in a soundscape of soft yet noisy ambient textures, icy mists, and soulful whispers. Blending witchy film soundtrack elements with spectral voices, this mix takes us on a journey through the cold and fog of the December soul—a time when the world outside seems to pause, giving way to introspection and melancholy. Raw, saturated sound effects merge into a dense sonic veil, blurring the boundaries between the real and the unreal.

For the second hour, the very special guest is Eniedocc. An emo animal trapped in the pipes of a steel factory, Eniedocc is playing live and creates harsh music made from materials gathered from reality. Voices can be heard shifting between different personas, re-associating the inner self with the tool.
