This Amsterdam based dj duo is the perfect combination of UK rave en Minimal/Micro house since 2019! Past two years they’ve released music on well respected labels such as PURISM, KINA,Deepperfect and Lacuna! As dj’s and producers they have their own destiquised sound that will ensure energetic vibes on the dance floor!

We invited the talented Jamback from Rotterdam for the 13th episode of our Demystified series. Jamback is making a name for himself in the (inter)national house scene as a DJ and producer. His first projects received serious support from some respected artists like Toman, Chris Stussy, Archie Hamilton, Waff, Dimmish and East End Dubs. He is spending a lot of time in the studio lately, sculpting his own sound and preparing some big future releases.

Next up, "God Jam It" digs deeper, moving towards a more classic house vibe. After an initial breakbeat moment, the tune back on track with the 4/4 structure, leaving to sharp drums the chance to shine at their best. Kick and bass shake the bottom. Analog pads and stabs create a gentle and flowing harmonic layer, sidechain and wise compression make it spot on in the overall mix. The continuous shift between breakbeat and straight phases is made to perfection and adds a note of interest to a very well-rounded track. The combination between a female (super housey!) and a male vocal samples its the cherry on the cake as it fits so well with the 90s lead on the drops as well as the whole mood of the track.

We are pleased to welcome you to the first episode of our brand new podcast series 'Demystified'!

Let's get to meet Karimun; a resident DJ at the renowned ENIGMA parties. He was born in 1999, in the city of Haarlem and now lives in Beverwijk, near the city of dance music; Amsterdam. This 21-year-old DJ and producer started making music back in 2012. As the time passed he developed a passion for house music. Especially for the minimal genre.

About two months ago, he did his first release on Kricked's label Slightly Sissled White, called 'Signals Thru The Silence' featuring Artmann. The track reached the Beatport top 10 within 1 week. Now he is spending more and more time in the studio to work on his productions, but in the meantime you can enjoy this carefully selected mix with some of his favourite tracks at the moment.
