Desde ese mismo año el colectivo ha acercado a la capital los mejores talentos del techno más vanguardista y arriesgado y desde 2019 se ha conformado como sello, siguiendo en la misma linea en el plano discográfico. Como selector es un digger enfermizo que goza de buscar las conexiones entre el techno más actual y los grandes referentes de los 90.

Our next artist is an emerging DJ from Milan, Italy. She began her career as a DJ in 2011 when she was working in a club in Córdoba, (Argentina) that two years later when she returned to Buenos Aires her hometown led her to study a career as a DJ-producer at "Arjaus" Electronic Music School.
E L A is a blend of slow techno captured with ambient soundscapes and subtle rhythms full of surprising change. The psychedelic nuances of its selection create constantly fresh atmospheres. Its sounds are delicately hypnotic, engaging rhythms, and timely transitions.

For the final chapter of our podcast series this year we are very happy to welcome Davide Montanari aka Surt. He is perhaps best known for his diligent approach to deep techno which is both surgically precise and unashamedly heartfelt. Davide previously released solo works via Edit Select or Planet Rhythm and recorded mixes for one of our favourite communities - the Korean Oslated - as well as Dino Sabatini's Outis podcast series. 

For this chapter of Introspective Electronics, he delivers a journey that seamlessly and patiently blends his deep techno sensibilities with dark ambient dronescapes, high-pressure hypnotic repetitions, a pinch of tribalism and textural experiments. A walk through a landscape in winter, barren fields and dense forests glistening with freshly fallen snow and each step forward whispers a tale of long forgotten springs buried in the soil below ✨🌚🌝✨

Driven by an incessant quest for immersion and fluidity, Enkō’s locked groove style mixes the classic school with contemporary techno to create a deep yet rhythmically rich performance.

The Basilar Festival resident and SUMMA founder showcases a groovier side of Lisbon techno as the event series becomes a platform for the community of emerging talents. Enkō's contributions to the electronic music movement in Portugal extend beyond performing and curatorship however, with releases on labels such as BCCO, HAYES, AWRY, WÄXXEL or SUBOSC. Meanwhile, his involvement with the community runs deep and includes label management, event production, broadcasting, and copywriting for various dance music projects like Neopop and Sónar.

In the half-decade he spent studying music technology and sound design in Leeds, UK, he developed and finessed as a sound artist. The British booming music culture serving as an influential time, which contributed immensely to his enrichment. This melting pot and ever-changing dynamics played a significant role in shaping his attitude towards sound, leading to collaborations with various festivals and events such as Latitude, Leeds Festival, and SHHH_IFT. Upon returning to Portugal, he established projects such as the OBRA after hours, the OCASO atmospheric sessions, cult party SUMMA, and techno label HAYES Collective – all of them collaborative platforms for artists from diverse fields.

Having performed at numerous clubs and for plenty of promoters, Enkō has maintained a special affiliation with Gare Porto whilst also playing at top-level venues and festivals in his homeland, namely Lux Frágil, Indústria, Outra Cena, Boom Festival, Freedom Festival, Forte Festival, Waking Life, Vinculum, Lisb-On, Timelapse, Aroma Cósmico and others.
