I've been fortunate enough to work as a (mostly remote) session singer and songwriter part-time for a couple of years, and now full time. I came across this "business VS art" theme a lot the past week and I get very uncomfortable when I read some comments about it, because everyone is different and it's not all black or white.

Sure, some people will forget about their passion trying to make as much money as possible, some will lose the joy because of deadlines, clients bad behaviors etc. But I firmly believe that the majority of us put their heart into any project, no matter its musical genre, no matter the hours spent on it, because we genuinely love what we do and we don't want to spend another day not doing that (the consequences being that we have to sell our passion as a service to pay our bills and turn awesome free opportunities down because it isn't fair that A doesn't pay for it but B does).

I'm definitely not rich, but I'd make this choice again everyday. Thank you to all the artists who hired me, trusted me with their musical baby, and made all this possible.

8 months ago, my catnado-mammoth-whale son passed away in the most painful way. He was a lively huge 8 year old cat with a tiny kitten voice and the cutest pink nose ♥ He couldn't bear being kept inside the house, he was a bit too fearless, and what had to happen happened. I finally had the courage to release this little tune.

Today, I would like to bring your attention to the fact that pets do not spread Covid-19 to humans. Please, keep them safe, don't abandon them. Shelters are overcrowded and healthy animals are unfortunately being euthanized.

Rainbow Bridge is on free download, but you can also name your price. The money collected from this track (through streaming and purchases), even if not much, will be indefinitely donated to the animal shelter / association of my choice.
