Belgian artist passionate about electro sounds and captivating melodies. Funkle Ace was born in Brussels, Belgium. Son of a piano teacher, he started playing the keyboard at an early age. With over 500 tracks to his name, he has collaborated with international artists and his songs have been streamed on various platforms. For a long time, he played with a friend and performed concerts in Belgium, France, and Spain (Burgos, 2 concerts + radio interview on Radio Castilla in 1984). Since then, he has followed his own path and decided to share his unique music style with you. His musical universe navigates between electro, chillwave, and ambient, creating unique and immersive atmospheres. He aims to touch hearts and minds with his music and collaborate with emerging talents to create unforgettable sound experiences. After finishing school mrlee 
Spent the following few  years aimlessly wandering Scandinavia in search of the fabled velvet love mitten.
Although the search for the elusive mitten was fruitless,
he spent his time collecting facial expressions in the hope of one day being able to use them to help create tongue twisting raps.
 The search for such varied expressions took him from the caspian sea to to wastelands of the bandit ridden balochi dessert.
After  many hours of soul searching he found no answer, with only his vast collection of expressions and his redman cassette for companions he decided it best to return to his native Yorkshire.
After returning he was branded an outcast and a fruity, so spent the next years in exile deep in the bowels of Scotland,   although the weather and food was bleak, the additions to the facial expression collection was outstanding, a pivotal point leading to the personification of the character we now know as Darealmrlee.
That said the collection wasn't complete enough for him to take his artistry to a satisfactory level, so once again he spread his wings this time to the rural North Poland to feast on soup made of goose blood and the worn expressions of a tormented yesteryear.


With more than two decades in the music industry and years of finetuning, I have become to understand the true meaning of the transforming form of art that is music.

Ayn Rand noted, "Art is a selective re-creation of reality according to an artist's metaphysical value judgments."

In essence, music is a gate beyond the sensorial perceptions, beyond hearing, beyond communicating and evoking emotions.

Music not only has the power to transcend all boundaries of communication because you can speak and tell stories to anyone in the world no matter what language they speak, but music also is a pure form of energy.

Making music and listening to it can in fact take you into another dimension in which you transcend ordinary reality and become one with a universe of energy.

I am eager to share this experience and my vision with you. Make sure to listen actively with your whole body, mind and soul. Fasten your seat belt and enjoy the ride!
