HUJUS is a Haarlem based techno artist who likes to take you on energetic night club journeys. His name is an abbreviation for the Latin word ‘Hujus Pace' which means ‘prevailing calm/inner peace' and let this be the mental state he takes you to during your interactions with his craft. At the age of 3, HUJUS started playing the piano and got exposed to many different genres like Pop, RnB and Jazz. His interest in electronic music started at the age of 14 when he started his first artistic project as an electronic producer and DJ in the Future Bass and Electronic Pop scene. But after many years of performing in night clubs, HUJUS finally came to life in 2022. With his modern and structured techno sound he had an amazing debut year with shows at e.g., Sneeuwbal Festival, Het Sieraad, Patronaat Haarlem which eventually led to his debut EP which came out in early 2023 on Autektone Dark.

Co-founder of 𝐎𝐒𝐒 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 and member of the 𝐆𝐑𝐒 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, HDER began producing techno with the aim of building bridges between genres.

Influenced by labels such as Frenzy, BCCO, Framework and Mutual Rytm,
HDER has only one idea in mind: 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐯𝐞.

During these dates, he shared the stage with artists such as FJAAK, DYEN, Umwelt, Unklevon, Tauceti, Leo Pol, Evil Grimace and others.
This artist's love of 𝐨𝐥𝐝-𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝟗𝟎'𝐬 sounds and 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐬 continues to grow.

Following their successful releases on Chequered Wax, Fresh Take Records and Andras Records, Bristol & Brighton based duo Sonic Juncture, comprised of Josh Twigge-Molecey & George Protheroe, share their latest EP 'Planetary Pursuit' with Westival Records.

Their opening track, 'XDimensional' hits us with an attention-grabbing sub bass that continues throughout, with a variety of synth textures and a running bassline to take the listener on a spook-filled, trancey journey from beginning to end.

The second track on the EP 'Thursday Groove' is driven by a rubbery bassline, jazzy chords, and crisp percussion. The track cruises through rich synth textures and subtle atmospheres, striking a perfect balance between laid-back groove and dancefloor intent.

'Find My Way' teases us with delayed, garage-like vocals and a mixture of energetic percussion combined with an arpeggiated bass, synthy riffs and tambourine sounds for the track's duration.

In true alignment with the EP's title, 'Planetary Pursuit' (Dub Mix) forms a progressive banger starting with saw tooth synth riffs and an 80s style snare, which make way for a groovy bass synth at the drop. The soulful vocals (Vocal Mix), saxophone reverbs and pipe-like synth throughout add further layers of differentiation to a chaotic yet atmospheric floor-stomper.
