The independent record company Citadel records was founded in Moscow in 1997. It became the first publisher to inform music community about the existence of united Russian electronic music scene. One of the main aims of the company is to promote creative works by original and talented contemporary composers. For more than 10 years already the creative union of the artists Moscow Grooves Institute, Second Hand Band, That Black, Olga Noel, Eject Project, Dub Chairman, ULA, DSM Formation, RA/BА Mutantъ, Alexandroid, THE:HET and many others has been creating the most up-to-date music wave appreciated not only in Russia but all over the world. The distinctive trait of our record label is the impeccable quality of artist’s work as well as its high creative potential and commercial success.

Formed around 1979 Black Virgin were a thrash metal/punk trio from NYC consisted of founder and lead guitarist and vocals, Kenny L. - bassist Joe C. - and Cathy B. on drums and percussion. ~Black Virgin~ whose songs and lyrics consisted and reflected political, comedic, social and personal issues fueled the creativity for a rebellious/anthem-like moshing melody of a metal/punk mixture.

VORAN plays uncompromising black metal and effectively combines elements of death and thrash metal, however, sounding more unique than many other similar acts.
