To achieve his distinct style he always has three decks running, merging early 2000s productions with upcoming underground producers that have a faster, loppier and groovier approach to techno.

so we’ve imagined *ALARMA SPOTLIGHT * as a series of podcasts highlighting the artists who play at our events

today, we’re focusing on italian dj and producer @albertotolo, who, since the 2000s, brilliantly twisted techno into something truly unique.

in 2022, his independent label ALT was born, spreading his vision of techno characterized by distorted, rare sounds that Alberto ironically refers to as "boring sounds"—a true signature of his productions.

however, boredom is the last thing on our minds as we dive into this podcast, which takes us in a labyrinth of tribal echoes and raw percussions.

this just makes us even more excited to host him on november 29th for a relentless 3-hour groove session in the boiler stage at @la machine du moulin rouge.

Berlin-native Lars Huismann is a DJ and producer recognised for his groove-driven tracks with pulsating synths. Huismann’s musical journey began at a young age, in which he was a drummer who played a range of styles from Jazz and Fusion to Progressive Metal. Huismann has performed across the world in cities such as Seoul, Sydney and Medellin. 

Huismann’s productions utilise complex percussion patterns and reflect his diverse musical influences, with certain releases incorporating elements from various sub-genres such as Detroit Techno, Industrial and Salsa. His music has released on established labels such as Mutual Rytm, Monnom Black and ARTS. This podcast is driving, intense and is analogue and timeless in its sound.

In this mix, Sons Of Hidden offers a glimpse into their upcoming releases—an experiment that draws on their jazz and hip hop roots, fused with the rhythms, instruments, and melodies of the Andes. It's a reflective journey shaped by personal transformation, where rhythm and melody become tools for exploring the relationship between inner darkness and light.
