Ponky is a DJ, producer, and co-founder of the Dissonance Collective, shaping a sound deeply influenced by funk and hip hop. With a strong focus on percussion, he blends synthetic rhythms with 90s house and rap acapellas, crafting dynamic and engaging sets. His mixes move fluidly between hardgroove, hypnotic textures, and break beats, creating an immersive experience that keeps listeners locked in.

For this mix, he approached it as he would a live set, starting with an ambient intro before building power and tension throughout. Always seeking to avoid monotony, he shifts towards a groovier energy towards the end.
