Jared Lucas (stage name Kap Slap) is most notably known for his mashups, mixes and original music. He built his sizable following as a touring DJ while finishing an Honors Integrated Business and Engineering degree from Lehigh University. 

Performing at universities and clubs across the country, the multitalented college-student-turned-DJ broke through thanks to his mashups and mixes – infusing the energy and groove of electronic dance music with everything from current pop hits to Motown classics. Kap Slap has since performed at major festivals, including KAABOO, Hangout Music Festival, Snow Globe, Made in America, Firefly Music Festival, as well as countless top venues and nightclubs.

MADSCIENCE MUSIC PRODUCTION~Kicked down, washed out, and back for more. What makes me keep doing what I'm doing? The beats, the lyrics, the sound of life - it's the music. If life kept us down every time we got beat, there would be no winners. I tried my hand at producing songs for some bigger names and bigger egos, but that didn't work out too well. I tried my hand at working with little flashes of light that thought they were bright enough to be stars, that didn't work out well, either. So now, I'm cleansing my palette and starting fresh with artists that are looking to push the boundaries of what's expected of music. I'm in the process of building my team that's ready to give the best possible output they can with me behind the boards. It's time to do something big, and the time is now! What's good?
