Presenting the latest installment of its various artist series, Purified Records delivers Fragments XIX. Selecting three magnificent cuts, the compilation dives into a club-dimension with Spartans’ ‘Interstellar’, P.LIMA’s ‘Indie Reverie’ and Offtide’s ‘Forget The Mistake’, which have all made a massive impact in Nora En Pure’s recent sets around the planet.

The Fragments XIX artwork features a stunning photograph of a pair of rays. Manta and devil rays, known collectively as mobulids, are some of the most beautiful, fascinating and enigmatic creatures in our ocean. The Manta Trust has announced a five-year plan, dedicated to conserving these extraordinary beings. With four key goals, they are dedicated to reducing bycatch and targeted catch, minimizing discarded bycatch and entanglement, protecting from human intrusion, and inspiring positive action. Manta rays are listed as vulnerable according to the IUCN Red List. 

Located on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, Daniel Nicholson is one of the globe’s most prominent professional underwater photographers. He seeks to share the beauty and magic of the underwater world to inspire conservation and change.

P.LIMA - Indie Reverie

Returning to the label with his first solo release, Brazilian producer P.LIMA delivers his two-track ‘Kanta’ EP on Purified Records. Opening with the title track, he calls upon heavy percussion and chanting vocals to set a captivating atmosphere. Flowing across its arrangement, this scintillating cut keeps energy levels high throughout its duration. Rolling into ‘Indie Paradise’, P.LIMA devises a mesmerising soundscape with soaring synths and edgy instrumentals, taking the listener to a lofty dimension.The ‘Kanta’ EP artwork showcases a shark with pilot fish surrounding it, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Pilot fish are a fascinating species of marine fish, known scientifically as Naucrates ductor. They are most famous for their unique symbiotic relationship with larger marine animals, especially sharks. These nimble fish navigate through the ocean by riding the pressure waves created by their larger companions, which helps them conserve energy. In return for this free ride, pilot fish provide a service to their hosts by eating parasites and leftover scraps of food, thereby helping to keep them clean and healthy. This mutually beneficial relationship 
is a remarkable example of cooperation in the wild, showcasing the complex interactions within marine ecosystems. Abandoned - Liés (Ben Walter & Soar Remix)

The first time I saw Adventure Club was September 27, 2012 at the first Counterpoint festival. I remember being instantly blown away by their performance, so much so that when I got home I went through their entire discography and I've been listening to them ever since. 
Flash forward to March 13th, 2015 when I got the opportunity to open for them in Charlotte. They came out of the green room to the stage, Leighton grabs me, turns me around and tells me I'm killin it! As you can imagine, that was yet another moment that left me in shock. 
To say that I am thankful for their friendship and support is understatement. These guys had no reason to support a little guy like me. I wasn't even good at producing back then, yet for some reason they did. And because of it, my drive to succeed multiplied. 
So when they gave me an opportunity to remix one of their tracks, there was no way I was going to disappoint them. I worked so hard on this track and I am unbelievably proud of the out come.

The Chainsmokers Ft. Jhené Aiko - Wake Up Alone (Triarchy Remix)

Like many of you, Linkin Park was one of the very first bands that we ever listened to. Hybrid Theory was the first album Tal ever owned. Memories of sitting in his room with his Sony Walkman listening to it repeat, it was the first album that got him through those difficult teenage years. It didn’t just inspire the music he would make but the type of artist he wanted to be - raw and honest. I used to steal my dad’s copy of Meteora just so I could blare it in my walkman on the bus each morning, mouthing every lyric as I slouched up against the cold seat. I felt like these poems were speaking to every part of my growing creative mind and I couldn’t get enough of them. Linkin Park shaped the way we write and create today and we wanted to create something that would allow us to grieve, reflect and heal. We recorded this cover in Tal’s apartment in two vocal takes and a couple of days of production as we wanted it to feel as intimate as possible in order to reflect what we were feeling when we decided to record it. 
We will be donating 100 percent of proceeds in coordination with Linkin Park’s team to a charity of their choice.
