The superb label from Lonya named Asymmetric Recordings returns with some quality deep vibes of the highest order, and its Namatjira a.k.a. Joost van der Vleuten the Dutch producer who delivers the goods.
Namatjira has been producing under various alias for the last decade, and has seen DJ support from Paul Van Dyk, Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha and John Digweed .
Here he teams up with vocalist Mz Sunday Luv, born in Canada with Greek Heritage, and currently Residing in Berlin, Germany, this artist of the globe has had her voice featured on such diverse labels as Get Physical to Hed Kandi and so many more in-between.

The Siamese creators Adriatique and Marino Canal have built a deep human and musical relationship over the years that reflects in their carefully selected output and keeps on impressing with the new EP.

„'All In Ever Wanted' takes us back to our earlier projects", remember Adriatique. "It got a strong, sub driven groove, less climactic than the usual club hit but persuasive by the powerful sound and clever arrangement. 'Accordia' on the flip relies a bit more on building up tension while the track carries on. The synth work reminds of 'All In Ever Wanted', the songs are siblings so to say. Different but with a connecting element at the same time."

When Radio 1’s Danny Howard brought his Lockdown Linkup series to the world in 2020, he set about teaming up the world’s leading dance producers for a collection of very special collaborations. Among those set up by the series was long-time friend of Defected Dennis Ferrer and South London trio Disciples, making for a powerful but perhaps unexpected transatlantic partnership. With both artists boasting impressive accolades that include platinum-selling records as well as bona fide underground anthems, they enlisted the help of acclaimed songwriter James Yuill to create ‘Whisper’. With its ethereal vocal, atmospheric keys and memorable guitar strings, married together by a club-friendly bassline, it’s no surprise this exquisitely produced debut would catch the attention of Defected’s Simon Dunmore, who now gives the track a full release on the imprint.
