I wrote this song during COVID lockdowns in 2021. It is about my home in tropical North Queensland, Australia - where the rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef and everywhere you go is another post card view. Yes, there are many amazing places in the world, but as I say in the song. "This is the one for me."

Paradise

I wrote the first version of the song way back in 1981 in response to a relationship breakup. I got over that, But I find myself going back to the song when dealing with the loss of someone special - be it family or friend.
It is a bit self indulgent but the message still holds up today - whatever the need for self reflection.
