Description: Sonopedia no. 1 is the result of a series of children´s workshops which took place during 2016, at elementary schools around Mexico City´s periphery. The piece comprises an hour long composition with sound experiments and a wallpaper with patterns from drawings, selected from the archive of these collective learning experiences.

We asked Robert to create a mix that explores some of his favourite film scores The results include a spectrum of classics and obscure or forgotten gems, spanning experimental, contemporary classical, electronic music and beyond.
Robert says: 'With this mix I wanted to focus on several all time favourites of mine in terms of film music and all over film sound. Also I wanted to give the listener a window into my own process for scoring film. The way in which each of these examples navigates the cinematic space, they address a myriad of moods and genres. Whether tense, ecstatic, melancholy, reverent, absurd, contemplative or whimsical, each selection provides an intention and a pathway into the landscape of the world it finds itself tethered to. It is this connectedness that makes for an overall complete work and cements the idea. I hope you enjoy.'
