Quentyn & KEV drop their highly anticipated feel-good anthem ‘Nobody’ 

You can always count on Quentyn to keep you well stoked in both dancefloor bangers and radio gems with his signature indie twist. With his debut album ‘Enroute’ hitting over 10 million streams back in April, Dutch producer Quentyn now teamed up with Swedish singer / songwriter KEV for their brand new radio gem ‘Nobody’ on Enroute Records.

‘Nobody’ blends KEV’s catchy lyrics and mesmerising vocals seamlessly with Quentyn’s unique signature indie sound and energetic electronic tunes. With such a strong song at the heart of this track, little is needed to make it truly shine, but the contrast and effortless mixture of sounds only serves to amplify its charms. This catchy pop/dance crossover is one that stays with you and will undoubtedly get stuck in your head after just one listen. 

KEV: ” The song originated in the middle of the summer of 2020 during the pandemic. It’s about the feeling of just wanting to go away and do something exciting, which is more fun when you have someone in your team who wants the same things as you do. Someone who gives you that sense of freedom and togetherness at the same time. Who’s on your side no matter what, who’s irreplaceable and gives you the opportunity to truly be yourself and do the things you love to do, while they do the same.”

Quentyn: “I knew KEV from his track 'Moments', which absolutely blew me away when I heard it in 2016. Such an amazing atmosphere and one of the reasons I started producing more towards the crossover indie, synth pop genre. Very honoured to have worked with him on this song!”

Out now, the energetic tunes of ‘Nobody’ are set to take you on a true adventure. And there’s more to come, Both KEV and Quentyn individually are in the swing of studio life, with much more fire to follow in the coming months. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Having parted Volt & State in 2016, it presented the upside for Quentyn of having more musical freedom than ever before. It allowed him to dive into an experiment with sounds, melodies, and different energies. Now he’s on a mission creating his own ‘Indie Progressive’ genre, which represents the unique blending of progressive house melodies with energetic indie band sounds. With his label Enroute Records he’s building the foundation for this unique combi of genres to emerge, having released work from the likes of Big Data, Anoraak, Josha Daniel, Roisto, J. Laser and more.

The Swedish singer / songwriter Kevin Tullgren is known from his globally championed singles such as ‘’Dreaming Wild” with Klahr and “Moments”. Having released on Universal, Axtone and STMPD RCRDS and toured with artists like Liam Payne, KEV is now ready to take over the pop scene. French producer and musician Frédéric Rivière AKA Anoraak is back, delivering a vibrant ‘sunset inspired’ disco and synthpop tune titled ‘Two Steps’. Incorporating his mesmerizing vocals into an infectious groovy synth hook, he sets the energetic foundations for his euphoric, four to the floor upbeat single, which will be a welcomed addition to any summer playlists going around.

Talking about returning to the more clubby side of his style spectrum, Anoraak explains: "After a couple of years composing mainly organic disco infused tracks and doing many collabs, I felt like bringing back a bit of synthetic sound as well as my own vocals.
I wanted Two Steps to be a dancy track with soft vocals, wrapped up in a pop format."

Despite the pandemic, Anoraak has been very productive, having released an EP on Yuksek’s imprint Partyfine and one lined up on Manchester’s iconic label Paper Recordings, as well as several single releases including the charity compilation For Beirut (alongside Breakbot, Acid Arab, Dimitri From Paris)
