ABOUT THE RELEASE:


With the sixt release, which is the third of the mini sampler series, enterbt delivers a record created for your vinyl deck, the dance-floor and the serious music collector. The opener on this EP is the first contribution from Topdeal Music feat. Alessandro Felline (produced by Topdeal Music aka Eugenio Chiais). The track named “Completely in tune” consists of smooth vocals and huge synths evolving into an amazing deep atmosphere full of Mediterranean soul.  The second xtrack on this release “Kairo” is produced by Jagged, an already known trio from the Swiss capital Bern. Jagged previously released their tracks on labels like “Quintessentials”, “A Few Among Others” or “Bonzzaj”. The sound of this track spins around two different moods with the use of very raw and deep, hypnotic synth-lines. Just lets get Jagged!  The flip side of this mini sampler continues with the track “last day” of our man from Barcelona Dario Damerini. Full Analog Power here! (plays inside-out) The fourth and last track of this EP “What can u do for me” is produced by CCO. He is a member of “Wave Test” and is well known for his Mathematics releases (plays inside-out).

VARIOUS ARTIST MINI SAMPLER EP TWO PT. 2

After the release of the first Split EP (ER 0004.1) together with Chez Damier’s Balance Alliance one year ago, it is again time to join forces! This follow-up EP is the result of a very special collaboration between the two labels and comes to you with four real house gems.

With „people“ on A1, Marcello Napoletano delivers an analog monster tune. The man from South Italy doesn’t need further introduction we guess, after his stunning releases on labels such as Mathematics, Yore or Rush Hour. As A2 we reintroduce our family’s first female producer Timnah Sommerfeldt from Basel, with her version of „feel me up“ originally released on Balance / BA006. 
The A-side ends with a crowd gone wild (more infos on Discogs).

The Balance-side goes on with „da basslover“ on AA1, an oldschol flavoured tune with soulful vocals, produced by Quike feat. Lello Di Franco, a young Italian producer Combo.
With “changes” on AA2, Demetrio Giannice takes a downtempo excursion into the realm of deep, driven by melodic synth lines, strings and a classic guitar, accompanied by the voice of Chez Damier. An extended vocal version is about to follow. Once again, strictly limited.

About the release:

Oftentimes the tracks which please you the most are the ones that capture the magic moment of the performance itself. Demetrio Giannice presents three such captured moments on ER-001. Two of the Tracks feature friends of him who contribute their voice for the vocal parts. In addition a remix was produced by Stefano M. and appears as A2 on this release.

ER 0002 presents itself to you as a mini-sampler consisting of four tracks of electronic niceties, one produced by our man in Barcelona Dario Damerini, the rest by members of the enterbt family in Switzerland. Diverse tracks from diverse minds for diverse DJs.


A1: Gabriel Roth – You Think You Got Soul?
You know these guys. They made a bit of a name for themselves as a DJ, maybe produced a couple of records. Suddenly they say stuff like: “You know, I’ve been playing this game for a long time”. And then you see them DJ, and somehow you’d rather see one of your friends playing, less well known maybe, but not a drunk-of-himself-guy like the one Gabriel met prior to producing this track. You think you got soul?


A2: Alex Brand – 1999 (Second Mix)

Alex Brand is one of the shiest artists in Zurich`s electronic jungle, but with a huge potential both as a DJ and as a producer and remixer. Back in the mid-nineties, he was part of the Swiss Hip Hop combo “Delicatessen”. With 20 years of experience in producing electronic music, D decided to let him be a part of the enterbt rec. family and here is the first track that he produced for enterbt rec. Studio chitchat by Alex Brand, Kris Schneeberger, and Nick Carter. Contains a respoken section of Public Enemy`s “Fight the Power”.


B1: Dario Damerini – Portofino
Dario Damerini is a very talented DJ & producer currently residing in Barcelona, but hailing from Bologna. His contribution to our first mini sampler is his first release. It is a smooth deep house tune with a huge baseline from the legendary Korg Polysix. More from Dario Damerini soon on enterbt rec!


B2: The Wild Cowboys – Genève House (Mix One)
This track is a collaboration between the DJ- and studio-duo “The Wild Cowboys”, consisting of Demetrio Giannice and Laso Andrés. The latter of two did the initial loops on his laptop in a hotel in Geneva, and Demetrio took care of arrangement and mixing. With influences ranging from Funk, Soul, to Disco and their love of House Music, this is their first track as a duo on the first enterbt mini sampler. Vocals by Chintz, Dick Diggler, Er Negro. This track samples D-Train`s “Music”.

After a short break, Enterbt Records is back on track, and what a return it is. ER 0003 features three tracks by a true Swiss mainstay: Shaka. The fourth track is remix of the title track by Titonton Duvanté, himself not a new face to the Electronic Music scene, either.


Shaka, born Kurt Spichiger, based in Basel, has been getting into housier and housier territory with his productions (keep in mind, back in the nineties, the man has released a double EP on Woody McBride’s Country&Western Imprint, a sublabel of Communique Records). The title cut features Martina Koch on vocals; it’s a sultry House track with a jazzy vibe to it.
A2, “Saxon” does what it says on the tin. A saxophone-heavy track, cleverly intertwining a sampled bit (wherefrom? We have no idea!) with Shaka’s own playing, another proof of his versatility, and his love for understatement. Nobody knew he plays sax.
On the flip, “Zulu Celebration” takes us into tribe territory, its looped chant driving the dancers on and on through the night.
Titonton Duvanté provides the closing number of this EP with a brilliant remix of the title cut. If you ever witnessed Titonton spin, you will know his exquisite skills behind the decks, and how he constantly goes back and forth between bleepy Minimal tracks and jazzy House – condense that down to a track of seven minutes, and you know what to expect from his mix!


Enterbt Records is the brainchild of Demetrio Giannice, an Italian-born, Swiss-bred House-addict since the dawn of the DAT tape. Lately, he has had his tracks released on labels such as Third Ear Records and Drumpoet Community, and his remixes have featured on Mojuba and co-productions on Balance Alliance. His deep interpretation of soulful House got heard by one legend of the scene, at the moment only nown as a certain A.P., who now is taking sonic care of the premastering stage of all tracks to be released on Enterbt Records.

Almost one year ago, Chez Damier’s Balance Alliance released a split ep as joint venture between Enterbt and Balance Alliance (BA 006).
Now after a long summerbreak, E|R is back with the follower of the “Alliance Releases” with contributions from:
Big Mojo, Wave Test, Lexx & Adventures in Barcelona (Demetrio Giannice & Chez Damier) remixed by Matto Belmondo from the Deep Dicks.
