“Virus” is a dark, visceral exploration of something that infiltrates the mind and body, addiction, obsession, trauma, or a destructive inner force that refuses to be purged. What begins as desire quickly mutates into control, blurring the line between choice and captivity.

Through intense imagery and raw confession, the song exposes the moment when something once welcomed becomes embedded, feeding on thought, identity, and sense of self. The lyrics move through denial, realization, and fracture, capturing the horror of recognizing that the poison is no longer external, it’s part of you.

Heavy, confrontational, and emotionally unfiltered, “Virus” doesn’t seek resolution or redemption. It sits in the truth of survival: still breathing, barely seeing, and learning where you end while the infection remains.

Danish duo Shy shy shy back with catchy new single.

The new single by Shy shy shy instinctively sounds both fresh and familiar at first listen. The unison vocals shine through a tight, well composed and richly detailed soundscape created in collaboration with producer Rune Borup (Jacob Bellens, Vinnie Who among others). The vocals immediately spotlight the theme of the song; the young and beautiful people that with their apparent carefree and successful existence leave their surroundings captivated.

Since Astrid Cordes and Simon Kjeldgaard wrote their first song together in 2014, they have continuously delivered hearty melodious indie-pop tunes.
