I produced and recorded this one last year. A story about the roman invasion of Britain. Its really a story of remembering where we come from. not to forget where our indigenous roots are. to remember the languages and songs that were stolen from us. remembering the goddess of the land.

This song is very close to me. those who know me know how passionate I am in reconnecting back to our Northern European indigenous ancestry. 

This song came through last year and I basically sat in front of the computer for hours recording this song into Abelton. The language is not a language so to speak, but more a soundscape of what came through at the time. 
Val Freya is A Norse goddess whom comes to me a lot.

I truly believe as Europeans we need to reconnect back to our own ancestors. so we can once again be proud to come from the magical north! Its time to remember my brothers and sisters! Time to put our roots back into the ground.

Those armoured eagles thought they got us all, but they didn't
On our sacred springs they built their halls but some were hidden 
They cut down the Yews the elms and oaks
They cut out the tongues of the druids in cloaks
They cut of the fingers of the harpers too
Took away our language and the magic imbued 
They built their walls and paved straight lines
Desecrated the spiral and raped the eternal twine

Many years had past since the legions days
Then came the priests with their dogmatic ways
Ohh praise thy lord the man in the sky
Who had a son who turned water into wine
But they to cut down the sacred groves
Then Saxons appeared in the island coves
But like the natives they were pagan too
They still feared the ravens in the ancient Yews
Beastly men tall and blonde
And ohh this fertile land did they become fond

Now 2000 years have gone by, 
Were still fighting the same fight, revealing the same lies 
Defying the empire who told us to worship a man in the sky 
They stole our love for the earth, they cast their spells for eternal gloom 
They burnt us at the stake for dancing under the moon 
For worshiping the land and casting our runes 
They took everything that was precious to our souls 
our language, our songs, our tales and history 
Our freedom, our dignity, our honour and the mystery 
of it all 
And for 2000 years that empire has thrived
But every empire that rises 
Will eventually fall!

As we raise the liquid feminine light of Shakti through our crown chakras, we open up to the realm of golden light, the vast silent infinite fields of pure consciousness, also known as “the gold”, Shiva, God or the Divine Masculine. Hanging out in “the gold” is pure bliss.

Staying connected to our sensual liquid feminine bodies, feeling our hearts longing to merge with the great HE, we invite the Divine Masculine to anchor down through our bodies into form. We offer our bodies as a bridge to anchor heaven on earth. We breathe the light of the Divine Masculine down through the back of our chakras, beginning with our receptive back heart chakra.

When we dance the crown chakra we invite the sacred union the divine fusion of God and Goddess in every chakra, this is ecstatic alchemy this is the dance of bliss.

Sleepless

Serene and powerful, timeless and expansive, “Spectrum of Being” carries the ancient and the modern in one stream. Tabla grounds the rhythm, sitar and bansuri open the skies, while synths and textures expand outward. The result is calm yet charged, mystical yet full of energy.

It’s a suspended moment, vibrating between reality and imagination, just like a scene captured on the big screen. Everything becomes deeper, more vivid, more intense... like in a movie.

With “Like a Movie”, Toshka invites her audience on a sonic journey that captures the soul with the intensity of a cinematic scene. The EP contains two electronic tracks, conceived as chapters of a story unfolding through shadows, lights, and immersive vibrations.
Known for blending refined melodic atmospheres with hypnotic grooves, Toshka sculpts soundscapes that resonate with both heart and mind, inviting the listener to lose themselves in a flow of emotions.
