@JVNA has a special place in my journey as a producer. I got out of my hiatus in 2019 when Andrew Huang's 4 Producers 1 Sample video featured her, and I started watching her streams, eventually meeting a welcoming community of people who love music.

When the remix competition for this track was announced, I knew I had to make a remix, as the track resonated with my personal experiences. I also decided to sample a bunch of JVNA's tracks as sort of an homage to them (see if you can spot them, some are too subtle, but the first few are obvious).
