In Radiant Legacy, EFMW physicist and composer Matthew Chenoweth Wright closes a decades-long circle—an elegy for his grandfather Harold Louis Wright, California Highway Patrol officer and public servant. The record bridges theory and tenderness, carrying the glow of one man’s moral gravity into the machinery of modern sound.

Wright calls it “a requiem for responsibility.” Across fourteen movements, analog synths, tape noise, piano, and voice form a physics of feeling: data becomes devotion, circuitry becomes compassion. It’s both personal and civic—part field recording of American governance, part prayer for decency in a digital century.

The album’s arc begins with The Files Were Labeled—a meditation on the bureaucratic heartbeat—and ends with Epilogue: Compassion Loop, where rain and cello dissolve into silence. In between lies Declassification Day, Grace Equation, and Reintegration Sequence, works that merge human breath with algorithmic rhythm, framing empathy as infrastructure.

This is Wright’s most intimate work: a scientist mourning and celebrating through sound. The dedication is simple and absolute—

“Where goes compassion, so too goes governance.”

Millie Sievert and The Radioactive Five is a spin-off band from eNuminous & Archimedes, formed when we accidentally-on-purpose kidnapped Millie from her London of 1912 when she attended our ill-fated time concert at the Hippodrome on February 30 of that year. She adapted to modern times and postmodern music, and quickly stole our drummer and bassist for sessions. Her fourth album is due out soon.

eNuminous & Archimedes just released their 37th studio album, The Age of Machine Beauty.

Faust Jones' band will shortly release their first album.

Glorp is due to submit (ahem) master tapes, but we cannot seem to get them to return our calls. We really liked them, and it would get a shame to have to rip up this here contract.
