In his early beginnings with music at the age of 7, started playing violin in the Emil Friedman School Orchesta, then he assisted to the conservatory for years, learning other percussion, string and some wind instruments.
Between 1997 and 1999 was resident Dj of Breakdown Soundsystem. 

Arturo Perez a.k.a. R2 began mixing techno in 2004, the following year gets up to Inculture Techno Records sharing stages with artists like Thermobee (U.K.), M4t30 (CLM), Candy Cox (BRA), Leo Laker a.k.a Swichblade (Fin), Chris Liberator (U.K), Lenny Dee (U.K), Ivee (CS), Leon KB (BRA), SNL (BRA) and Luvok (MEX). Then started mixing other genres like the Drum & Bass (2006), in which he soon developed as a Dj, with influences of tech-step and liquid.

In May of 2007 became part of the latin american Drum & Bass crew SOUTH emBASSy, participating in events next to the biggest on the scene like Drumsound (U.K), Redeker (MEX), Raiden (U.K), Audiosapiens (U.K), Merey (ESP) and others.

Now is producing and mixing under the Tony Montana Records Label

Any form of broken beat, slow, fast, downtempo, chill.
But mostly Drum And Bass/Jungle/Breakbeat!
