His sets feature minimalist elements, pads with long delays, pulsating bass and transcendental melodies that gradually progress through each song he plays, telling a concise and engaging story.

Diogo Albano de Aratanha, known as MAGO DI, music producer, sound design, DJ, guitarist, composer and singer, was born in Sorocaba (SP) and grew up in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). Graduated in Phonographic Production from Universidade Estácio de Sá, he brings with him a long experience as a band leader of classic rock bands.

His career has won 3 Best Sound Design awards, one of them from the RWF and in Bilbao, Spain. Graduated in Phonographic Production, he worked at the production company Visom Digital where he had a lot of studio experience, working with renowned artists such as Caetano, Marcos Valle, Gil, Antônio Adolfo, João Bosco, Yamandu Costa and sound engineers such as Danny Leake from Stevie Wonder and Moggie Canazio.

As a guitarist musician who has been present on the Rio scene for 17 years, he played at festivals such as Aldeia Rock Festival and Totem Prog in his native SP. Sharing the stage with Brazilian progressive legends such as Terreno Baldio, Som Nosso De Cada Dia, Terço.

The strong connection with the guitar led MAGO DI to Luthierie, having his training at EI Musica with the Professor Luiz.

3 years ago he entered the DJ scene, broadcasting sets to an international audience via Clubhouse, Youtube, Instagram, Twitch, reaching 5K members spread across Japan, India, Turkey, USA and in African and European countries.

 As he is also a recording producer, he is composing his own sets and plays in the form of a Live Act, mixing visual projections simultaneously, trying to break down the barriers between Audio and Visual.

Trabalhou ao lado de produtores como Danny Leak (Stevie Wonder) e Moogie Canazio.

No audiovisual, trabalhos na VISOM DIGITAL renderam a MAGO DI prêmios de melhor Sound Design no Rio Web Fest 2016 e no Festival Bilbao SeriesLand 2017 (Espanha), ambos pela web série "Imaginário IMG".

Por cinco anos foi guitarrista da banda de Rock Progressivo ARCPELAGO, se apresentando em vários festivais como Aldeia Rock Festival, Totem Prog (SP), Festival Estação Blues Rock (Guaratinguetá/SP), Carioca Prog Festival (RJ), além de shows em casas cariocas como o Espaço Néctar em Vargem Grande, o Solar Botafogo, Teatro Café Pequeno e o Teatro Ziembinski.

A forte ligação com a guitarra levou MAGO DI à Luthieria, tendo sua formação no EI Musica com o Professor Luiz.

Há 3 anos se inseriu na cena de DJs, transmitindo para público internacional sets pela Clubhouse, Youtube, Instagram, Twitch, chegando a 5K de membros espalhados pelo Japão, Índia, Turquia, USA e em países da África e da Europa.
