Well, so it's been a crazy hectic year since recording my song with Sascha and Jason.  Work has kept me pretty busy for the long haul, even getting a chance to "noodle" on my guitars is a luxury some days.  But! I'm sitting here, coming down from a mega-flu bug in middle of January 2016, and started noodling around, as I always do, and came up with this wee cool tune. It's a bit darkish-happy.  I, I kinda have been wanting to get some inspiration of my uncles life, he passed away, very suddenly, Jan. 11, 2016. Yes, right in between Bowie and Rickman. Way, way too many losses this year already.  Just an instrumental, I can't really think of any words to put to it, I'll let the music speak for itself.  But the title "I've Been Gone, Not For Long"  is just sort of a play on words over the fact of how long it has been since my last upload.  

Tried some new things with this one; used the cool M-Audio Fast Track C400 to record everything into Cubase. I like that it doesn't colour as much as the pod does.  Same Sennhieser e609 for both bass and gutiar amps two for gutiar; the Traynor YCV 20 and the mystery amp, the bass amp is the Fender Rumble 15.  Guitar was now I'm trying to use and make my main fiddle the Gibson Alex Lifeson ES 355. Bass is the Fender Geddy Lee Jazz.

Random ideas I have, some from the JM4 looper I bought about a year ago. Oh and ponies now too, apparently :D So I'm hoping to create a song for every show character, somewhat of a slight goal I guess.  And anything else a long the way I come up with song wise.
