In $dMONEY$'s family his mom always had a voice and His uncle George you could catch singing from time to time so he was introduced to music as a kid.
At a young age he watched the movie "Woo" and at the end of the movie a song called "Regulators" came on and it was from then on He knew what He wanted to do.
He wrote his first rap at the age of 9 called "The Devils Creation" He also helped form a group called "lil soldiers" with His little brother and performed his first show ever at the age of 12 at Creighton University. 
He dropped His first mixtape "Day 1" in 2012 , Dropped "Day 2" In 2014, and a mix tape with His little brother (Cypha) called "The Hunger" In 2016, In 2017 He obtained His GED from the E.O.C In Schenectady, NY. From there he went to '' The Ohio Media Broadcasting School" To graduate in media and broadcasting, Then going back early 2019 and graduating with Audio Engineering and DJ Services.
He lost his brother late 2019 from gun violence and went back to his city of Omaha, Nebraska and dropped "Day 3" **RIP Amrian**
 In 2021 He started His own record label/LLC Called ONTOPPRECORDS and He stared attending open mics at the Wired Pub with Nappy Face Ent witch led him to more show opportunities Throughout 21-22 and a Insane Event in Las Vegas For "Da Chronic Tales World Premiere"
In September 2022 He signed with the independent label "Nappy Face Entertainment" and you can look forward to ton's of high quality and deep meaning content for years to come!

His musical evolution is based on strings and their fascinating behaviour.
After having played in several bands in Barcelona, he nowadays creates his sounds, primarily ambient, in solitary.

R&B/ Soul Singer, Kawasi (pronounced Quay-ci), does more than tell stories through his lyric's - he motivates and inspires. These actions have propelled his career to a level of unparalleled success both on and off the microphone. Born and raised in Albany, Georgia, under the care of his grandmother, Mrs. Reather Weston, Kawasi was showered with love and purpose at a young age - she raised him from 6 months.
 
Some may assume that after graduating Morehouse College and attending Princeton University he would feel fulfilled; but he still felt empty. Working with Hillary Clinton's camp in a dream job wasn't enough - Kawasi knew he had only scratched the surface. He knew there was so much much in him that needed to be release - so he left behind a career in the world of International Affairs to pursue his dreams, music. Fast forward 10 years later, those dreams took him all the way to Los Angeles to pursue and conquer music. Releasing soul stirring hits in 2020 like Black Tears and Miss The Way, Kawasi's 2022 debut EP "Flowers" reveals a dark period of his life as he documents his journey through drugs - sparked after a car accident almost paralyzed him. opiOids and Xanny are both songs that speaks on the blind confidence given to those who take prescription medication prescribed by their doctor. Molly and Marry Jane chronicles the recreational use of drugs that bring euphoric realizations through pleasure. Flowers proves he is an amazing Singer, Writer and Vocal Producer.

My genre influences include electronic, downtempo, lofi, experimental, rock, blues, indie, prog, post rock, ambient, synthwave, trip hop, and hip hop. 

My recent tunes are produced using Ableton Live, FabFilter suite plugins, and often feature synths like Pigments, Microfreak, and Minilogue XD. I'm also beginning to incorporate guitar a lot more!
