CHESS SOUNDS is a production house and recording studio specializing in Hip Hop music production, vocal recordings and sound design for short films and television shows and advertising.  
Situated in Melbourne, Australia.  Chief engineer and producer is Ciecmate (Broken Tooth Entertainment, Hospice Crew & Hired Goons)
Since 2001 Ciecmate has been involved in the production, recording, mixing and mastering of countless Hip Hop releases.  In 2003 he set up a local independent record label 'Broken Tooth Entertainment' which has released 35 official albums to date!  All of which received much praise and acclaim from Hip Hop fans across the whole spectrum from underground to mainstream.

While constantly keeping busy working in the roles of Label manager, lyricist, producer and sound engineer... Ciecmate is consistently churning out beats of a high standard to the point that there's enough to spare and put out on the market for sale to other artists looking to put together their own projects.

Stray blends and twists all types of genres to form his unique style of music. With his low soulful voice stray tires to lose his audience in the pure art of music. Being a solo act that’s not afraid to hit the stage with energy, Stray is the kind of artist that feels at home on stage. Bursting onto the scene around early 2000 to stir the feathers of the local heads, Stray found no trouble in finding a place for himself and would go on to record and produce a lot of local hip-hop artists. Later producing the infamous Tasmaniaks track “Tas In Winter” (which the film clip would end up being played on rage) and producer of the short lived crew, Copious Crew which featured triple j airplay. Stray has a huge list of releases (LPs, EPs, Mix-tapes and Instrumental Cds) and most can be found on his bandcamp (which he uses most.
