Mike Tansella Jr. is a Berlin-based DJ originally from Bari, South Italy.
Mike moved to Berlin in 2013 and started mixing officially for Detroit radio “In My House music show” in 2016. Around that time, he made his first steps into underground venues like KitKat, Anita Berber, Paloma, Farbfernseher, Griessmuehle, to name a few. In 2019, he took part in L.A.’s Black Lodge.
Mike is harnessing his talents with his cousin Tans as a part of the industrial duo Sons of Traders and runs Sons Of Traders Records since 2020,releasing Music  via The Black Lodge, Frigio Records, Clan Destine Records, Acero, and more.
His mix style is a blend of the House school of Chicago, Detroit, New York, with experimental sound and no waves displaying always eclectic taste without compromises.

@mtrl_audio (Material) is a multidisciplinary music and art project by Lukas Weinlein. Rooted in deep, organic sound design and forward thinking production, MTRL creates immersive sonic landscapes that balance precision with raw emotional texture. 
The project embraces an intuitive approach to music-making, where field recordings, modular synthesis, and experimental techniques blend into rich, evolving compositions.

This mix presents a selection of unreleased tracks which ended up on his hard drive over the past few years. 
The mix flows through ambient, experimental, and floor-oriented sounds, offering a cross-section of different projects, methods, and setups. 
Some of these tracks were originally composed for audiovisual installations, others for live performances, and some emerged spontaneously in shared creative environments.
It’s an archive of unreleased material that continues to shape future paths.

The relationship between the visual and auditory creative realms is a close one. Equally as expressive, and open to experimentation, both seem to elevate the other when done tastefully and in combination. It comes to no surprise then, that our premiere for today is from a collaboration between Javier Marimon, and Daniel[i], as JD. A great producer outright, Javier Marimon’s visual contributions range far and wide in our scene, through various label logos, club flyers, album artworks and more, his touch is undeniable, and recognizable. Equally so for his German counterpart on the release, as Daniel[i]'s productions are near and dear to all our hearts.

Continuing a structure of other prior collaborations and releases on Off Tangent, focused around shortened production periods and an emphasis on raw sessions, Javier and Daniel[i]’s time together has coalesced into the seventh release on Javier’s imprint. Titled Segments I and II, the two tracker sits well within the wheelhouse of both artists, shedding light on what is possible from a few meetings and a knack for when something is finished.

Segment II arrives precisely when it means to. Each element unfolds at its own pace, maintaining tension, movement, keeping things interesting however deftly so. Not overt, but subtle. Textures, and off kilter bass lines intermix with muted melodies and cast a shadow over all.

Segments I and II will be released on the 28th of May on Off Tangent Recs.

Shapes thicken, not to dominate, but to exist.

Nothing ascends—everything spreads.

In Morpho, form doesn’t arrive all at once; it builds piece by piece, from materials drawn across distances. Each step is neither better nor worse than the last—each is singular, part of the whole. Growth is not guided—it listens, folding itself into space, grain by grain.

Ex.Hale is the brainchild of Italian multi-disciplinary artist Francesco Presotto. 
Ex. Hale’s music is characterised by dark, atmospheric textures that is driven by a modern vision of club music. The project is focused on the deconstruction of common compositional standards with the addition of crushing rhythm structures that establishes the unusual framework of Ex.Hale’s subversive approach. 

With releases on Sonic Groove, Rudiment, and Voidance, in addition to soundtracks for fashion runways and design companies and to an increasing number of performances in clubs, museums and festivals around Europe, @exhaleelectronics has become a formidable force in electronic and experimental music.
