The Grenadiers  are a band who immediately strikes with their edgy personality and a really original approach to songwriting. Influenced by the best 60s bands and beyond, The group is all about crafting energetic, yet catchy hooks, which resonate with the audience on a more personal level. The group’s songs are all about tight riffs and engaging vocal lines, which work well in the studio and on stage: The Grenadiers even opened for The Blockheads recently, playing to an audience of over 600 people at The Art Centre in Colchester, exposing their music to a brand new audience!

Steve Farrell is a Newcastle born singer/song writer who performs and writes as part of Knotted and as a solo act.  His soft voice and writing style has been compared to the style of Paul Heaton and Glenn Tilbrook by some, as its clear they are two big influences.  Writing about every day life and often the more mundane things in the world, Steve and Knotted often have feet tapping to the catchy pop/folk style of music.
