“Halloween Masks” is my reflection on the way people hide their true selves—especially when the world expects them to play a part. It’s about how we wear different “masks” every day, pretending to be fine while concealing fear, sadness, or loneliness underneath. The song takes place on a cold Halloween night, when everyone’s literally wearing disguises, but I’m thinking about the emotional masks that never come off. Beneath the eerie glow and spooky energy, there’s a deeper truth—how it feels to want someone to really see you behind the face you show the world.
